Contractor Resources—Working With Other Trades
In certain instances CPVC piping products can be susceptible to damage caused by other trades on the jobsite. These include but are not necessarily limited to: physical damage caused by mishandling and/or abuse, exposure to excessive heat (i.e. soldering of metallic plumbing), and exposure to certain incompatible chemicals applied by other trades (i.e. electrical work, mold remediation, pesticides).

The following Technical Bulletins have been developed as educational tools for the fire sprinkler contractor or other interested parties to distribute to the general contractor and/or other trades to inform them of potential problem areas to avoid.
